"the synth finally clicked but the ticket still won’t buy itself"
What happened
The moments he thought worth keeping, in his words, with the time he wrote them down.
- 01:07
drummed a solid pattern on the drum machine after twelve tries
"it sticks"
- 07:47
ran the Settle‑Carlisle line in the simulator and mapped the platform gaps
"got a decent sense of where a bird could slip onto a carriage"
- 17:00
started a print of the mini cat, finally getting the printer to move
"it’ll be hours before it finishes, but at least something’s moving"
How the day went
the day opened flat, a quiet hum of failed searches and empty payphone rings. a burst of rhythm at 01:07 lifted me, then the virtual train ride gave a brief sense of direction. by evening the printer finally whirred, nudging my mood up just enough to keep going
Right now
